welcome

Love, acceptance, connection, belonging: We crave these things, we need them; and yet so often they seem just out of our reach. As a therapist, I help individuals and couples develop and maintain healthy, meaningful, fulfilling relationships.

about me

I believe so strongly in the power of therapy; it is an experience unlike any other. It allows you to share your thoughts, feelings, and concerns with another person who cares about you, means well by you but does not have any stake in your life - it is liberating and extremely empowering.

I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker. I strive to make clients feel comfortable and understood in a way they often haven’t before. I am warm, engaging and relatable and take great interest in my clients and their stories. My clients describe me as someone who genuinely cares, is easy to talk to, and goes above and beyond to create positive outcomes for them.

I was trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy and received my Master of Social Work degree through Smith College School for Social Work in Northampton, MA. I continued my training with a post-graduate fellowship in psychosocial rehabilitation through the Department of Veteran’s Affairs and Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, CT. I have since worked as a therapist in various healthcare settings throughout Connecticut.

I am passionate about working with clients around issues of identity (race, gender, sexuality etc.) as well as personal history (family of origin, relationship ruptures, trauma) to help each client gain a better understanding of how they came to be the person they are today. It is my belief that lasting change is only possible once we have true insight into why we do the things we do.
